Daniel Parton

Food Service Director

Get To Know Them:

About Daniel

Daniel is a knowledgeable in all matters involving foodservice. As your food service director, he is the go to person with everything relating to dining services. He has been in the food industry for 23 years with expertise in bringing a fresh eye look to campuses across the United States.  Daniel was born and raised near Charlotte, North Carolina where he always had a love for food. He went to culinary school early in his career with a focus in pastry, he is known for his delicious cheesecakes. From there his background includes country clubs, K-12 and eventually landed in Campus Dining where he has remained ever since. Last Summer, Daniel and his wife with their fur babies, Lexi and Levie, relocated from Seattle to be closer to family. When Daniel is not working he can be found in the outdoors white-water kayaking or hiking.

About Liz

Liz lives by the motto, “do it right, or don’t do it at all.” She enjoys working in the campus dining atmosphere and honored to be the assistant dining director. Liz has worked in the food service industry for over 10 years. Her expertise is in catering and retail operations in hotels and campus services. Liz oversees all retail dining on campus including, One Main Café and Capital Grounds Coffee. She was born and raised in Uruapan, Mexico and speaks fluent Spanish. She recently relocated to the Columbus area with her 10-year-old daughter Mia. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, cooking and hand crafts. Liz is known for some of her amazing authentic recipes from Mexico.

About Casey

Casey is a Columbus Native and honored to be here at Capital.  He graduated from Harvest Prep in Canal Winchester where he was an all-state high school quarterback and a 4 sport athlete.  He has over 15 years of culinary experience.  Casey can be found in One Main Café and Capital Grounds, if you have any suggestion be sure to tell him!  He has three children ages 5, 4 and 2 years old.  He enjoys fishing, playing basketball and watching sports in his free time

About Tito

Tito is excited to be a part of the Capital family.  He was born in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico and resides here in Columbus, Ohio.  He is based in the Main Dining Room, overseeing all kitchen operations.  If you see Chef around be sure to say Hi!  He is married to his wonderful wife, Michelle and they have three beautiful children, 19, 11 and 5 years old.  Tito attended the Culinary Institute of America and has over 24 years of experience in food service.  In his free time, he enjoys auto mechanics, welding and Doberman Pinschers.

Adam Uding

Get To Know Them:

About Adam

Adam has over 16 years of culinary experience and eager to be the dining room manager at Capital Court! Shortly after he started college, he realized his love for food while working in a fine dining restaurant.  He quickly went the culinary route and has been there ever since.  He was born and raised in Bloomsdale, Missouri but recently lived in Okinawa, Japan where he married his wife, Sachi and their son was born.  Adam and his wife now reside in Columbus with their two children, Alex (4 years old) and Sophia (2 years old).  When Adam is not working he enjoys spending time with his family.  Adam is a socially butterfly and loves being around people.  He has friends and family from all over the world so don’t be afraid to strike up a conversation!
