Trayless Dining
Aladdin is proud to sponsor a trayless dining program at Capital University. Trayless dining reduces our environmental footprint. It decreases waste, conserves natural resources (namely, energy and water) and reduces the introduction of polluting detergents, rinses, and drying agents into the water table. Socially, trayless dining can provide education and awareness about environmental issues, while also potentially reinforcing a healthy lifestyle. It is an initiative that supports campus sustainability.
Registered Dietitian
We have a wealth of resources available to our guests, including the expert guidance of a registered dietitian. Arrangements can be made for individual consultations concerning any dietary need, such as sports nutrition, weight control, food allergies, or medically prescribed diets.
Going Green Eco Friendly To-Go
We will be offering our To-Go Meals in Eco-Friendly containers for $5. These will be available at the front register in Capital Court. Students will have the option of taking a To-Go Container for their meal on the go. When they return the container they will get a new clean container for their next meal. This will contribute to our sustainability and to the freedom of students leaving the dining hall.

Frequently Asked Questions
What are the benefits of having a meal plan?
Dining Services provides on campus dining options for students, faculty, staff, and guests at Capital University. When it comes to meals, leave the shopping, cooking, and cleaning to us — you will have more time for studying and social activities!
What if I have a friend visit this weekend, can they eat in the Dining Hall?
Absolutely! You’ll need to use your Cap Bucks, Cash, Check or Credit to pay for their meal.
Why am I required to have a meal plan?
Residence halls on campus do not have kitchen facilities. Your microwave works well for popcorn, but it’s not sufficient to prepare well-balanced, nutritious meals. Having meals prepared for you allows you to focus on your education instead of trying to figure out what (or how!) to cook for dinner.
Service Regulations
Your understanding and observation of the following regulations will guarantee smooth, efficient operation of the Dining Hall.
- Students must obey the University personal appearance regulations while in the Dining Hall.

- You will not be granted credit for any meals missed.
